29th March - Run with HW

It had been ages since Harry and I had run together, but with the opportunity provided by the bank holiday we managed to get together and get out. The plan was to run on the down's link, somewhere in the region of 18 miles.

The down's link provides a long, flat route without traffic for most of its length. It runs pretty much past my front door, and if you head southwards seems to be flat pretty much to the coast. Northwards it gets interesting after about 4 miles, but you'll have to wait for the report of the 25th May for more on that.

29th March 2013

Distance (miles): 14.73
Time: (hh:mm:ss): 02:03:25
Pace(min/mile): 08:23

This run went fine, it was nice to run with someone else (except when he needed to stop for a pee break). No part of it was particularly taxing, but then it was slower and shorter than Cranleigh, not to mention flatter.

Oh, and if you're wondering why we did 15 miles instead of the planned 18 it's because my hardcore running colleague had shredded wheat instead of frosties for breakfast, and so was hungry by about mile 12.
